PVA Eye Spear: BVI’s Fluid Control Product is a triangle-shaped spearhead that is made from highly absorbent Merocel polyvinyl acetal (PVA) material. PVA Eye Spear is specially designed to allow gentle manipulation of delicate tissues and rapid recovery of fluids during LASIK, Cataract, and other corneal procedures. The device is set on a malleable, polypropylene handle which benefits both patients as well as the surgeons.
