FLACS Cannula [Schweitzer]: A multi-functional 25 Gauge cannula which is designed for enhancing the surgical efficiency during femto laser-assisted cataract surgery (FLACS). The product ensures dissection of all types of Femto incisions with its thin leading edge that allows it to locate and glide through the incision tunnel created by the laser with minimal effort. FLACS Cannula can also be used for injecting OVD and other solutions immediately into the anterior chamber of the eye as the syringe is already attached. This reduces the number of instruments required to pass and hands-off with the scrub nurse. FLACS Cannula overall is helpful in reducing procedure time resulting in more efficient patient flow and increased room turn over. The single-use device is available in a sterile package which also prevents the risk of cross-contamination.
